Let’s start with the name, shall we? Love of Beaches® isn’t just a catchy title, it’s the perfect summation of who I am and what I do. Beaches have always held a special place in my heart. There’s something truly transformative about the way the waves meet the shore, the sound of the tide, and the endless horizon that seems to promise adventure and tranquillity all at once.

As a child, beach holidays were the highlight of my year. Whilst back then it was exploring the rugged coastlines of Cornwall the beach was always my happy place. Over the years, that love evolved into an obsession, not just with visiting beaches but understanding them. I’ve explored secluded coves in the Seychelles, lounged on the pristine beaches of the Maldives, and marvelled at the dramatic beauty of the Mauritius.

My Journey into Travel

My career started in hospitality, working in a luxury spa resort, where I learned the art of creating experiences that feel indulgent and restorative. From there, I moved into the travel industry, working with a high-street travel agent. That’s where I truly honed my skills in planning holidays, developing a knack for understanding what makes a trip extraordinary for each individual client.

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: hotel reviewer, travel planner, and destination specialist. Each role allowed me to build a deep understanding of the industry, from identifying the perfect five-star resort to crafting bespoke itineraries. You could say travel is in my blood, it’s always been more than a career; it’s my calling.

Specialising in the Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius, and Dubai allows me to focus on destinations I know intimately and truly love. These are places where luxury meets the beach in the most spectacular ways. Having visited these places extensively, I bring firsthand knowledge to every recommendation I make. I’ve stayed in the resorts, walked the beaches, and experienced the highlights (and hidden gems) myself.
